October 2, 08- We stayed at a hotel for the night on our way to California. Alyssa went swimming for the first time. It was really fun to watch all 3 children playing in the pool. The water was really cold, but you wouldn't know it because Kaila and Isaac couldn't wait to get into the water. Alyssa even seemed to really enjoy herself, cold or not.
I was just thankful to finally be off the road and be able to sleep. The driving was brutal. I couldn't keep myself awake on the rode and it was really hard driving in the dark, with it raining and a crying baby.
