I am attempting to create a blog with the hope that when we move to California, I can keep all of our friends and Family up dated on our adventures and daily life. Please bare with me as I try to learn the ways of this high tech society we are now in and try to create what is known as a blog. So with that being said, my journey begins...

Random details...

Our Internet hasn't' been working very well, so I haven't kept my blog up to date, so instead of trying to go back and update it in detail, I'm just throwing everything in all together. For grandma who reads this to stay up to date with all the little things that are going on with her grand kids, Alyssa is getting her second tooth and has become quiet the biter. Isaac is eager to learn, and just as eager to destroy anything he comes into contact with. Kaila, she's working hard still to do well in school. It's been a roller coaster for her being here and adjusting to everything, but I'd say she's been a trooper and I'm proud of her. I've included some more pictures from our trip. Including a couple of the kids sleeping. It was great in Disney land to exhaust the kids so thoroughly that they didn't fight or do anything but zonk right out. If only we could do that everyday. It was very pleasant. Only thing, Ben and I were just as tired.

What a vacation...

So, we finally made it to Disneyland. We had such a good time. Lot's of walking and late nights. It rained the entire first day we were there, but it wasn't too bad cause we were able to get right onto most of the rides, the second day we were there, we spent the entire day at California adventures and that was fun too. On our third day, we re-rode our favorite rides. It was lots of fun! Our next stop was sea world. We enjoyed that too, but nothing compared to Disney. We made a few stops along the way, including Hollywood. I was kinda dissappointed, it's not as glamorous as I had expected it to be. We went to the San Diego zoo, and I don't think theres any way to see it all in one day. Then we went to the animal kingdom, gotta say, I wasn't that impressed. It's nice to be home after 8.5 days. I'll add more later, Alyssa wants mommy time.

It's Christmas time

I love Christmas time. I find myself being so much more thankful for all I've got this time of year more than at any other time. I think it's because I'm so much more aware of all of my blessings. Especially right now, being so far from family and friends. I'm so thankful for all of my friends, and my family. This year is Alyssa's first christmas and she's at the age where she's having some stranger anxiety. So I wasn't sure how she would feel about Santa Claus. To my surprise, she sat on his lap for a few minutes andHave a idn't cry. Kaila didn't really want to even stand in line for Santa Claus and Isaac was so excited, but when it came time to sitting on his lap or even talking to him, he suddenly wasn't very interested. No matter, we have some really cute pictures now. Have a very Merry Christmas!

It's going...

People keep asking, "how's it going?" When I reply, "it's going." They look at me either puzzled, or laugh. So, let me explain what I mean when I say, "it's going." We're still having problems with the dang raccoons, but that's not new. I've posted a picture with this. Your all probably wondering, "what's so great about the van window?" Well, that's what's been going. I was really sick a few days before my birthday. I don't think I realized how sick I felt, until I ran into a pole and broke my van window with 2 of the 3 kids in the car. The really sad thing, I didn't even realize the window had broken right away. It's like I saw it, but it didn't occur too me what had just happened. I tell Ben I had to turn 28 with a big hoora. I'd say I did it!! Rather than going on and on about what has happened, I'll just post some pictures that I seem to of failed to post. I hope everyone is good, and I'll try to do better with staying updated. On an exciting note, we're going to be going to Disneyland. We are super excited. I should say Ben and I are, the kids don't know yet. It's a Christmas surprise. Although our trip will officially begin Dec 21. So we'll be having an early Christmas.
