YEA, EASTER

This year at Easter time my sweet family was getting really sick, and my camera wasn't working. We had a ton of fun though before we really got sick. We took the kids to see the Easter bunny, and to a petting zoo, full of crafts, and riding the ponies. I wish I'd had a working camera, but I did get one set of pictures. As you can see, Alyssa was not feeling well, but she's so even tempered. Come Sunday though, we got really sick, so the new Easter outfits that we got them haven't been used yet. Maybe next Sunday we can use them. We also had a fun easter egg hunt with a few of our friends. This year we thought it was really important to make sure our kids knew the real meaning of easter, and our great friends here came up with a great idea. Right after our egg hunt they had an activity for the kids that included some of the eggs the kids had found. They told the story about Jesus's betrayal, and his crucifiction, and his ressurection, and it was such an amazing activity. It was great to have our children understand and really get it. This easter was really a good one. Other than 3 of us waking up super sick and in need of antibiotics.
