Sorry, sorry sorry it's been so long. I didn't have anything exciting to say until my mom came to visit. She stayed for a few days and we showed her around. Now, I'm catching up. It was so much fun having my mom come to visit. We had such a great time. We were suppose to be the ones showing my mom the new sites, and she ended up showing us Carmel. She's never been, she was just told by everyone she had to visit, so visit we did. I swear, the beach there is the most beautiful thing I've seen. Funny though, I think the sand is imported from somewhere like Jamaica or something and the water is filtered. The beaches we go to are pretty, but this beach had beautiful, clear, water, and the sand was white, and warm. It was amazing. The houses there look like their right out of a fairy tale. It's funny, it's only about 7 miles from us and we had missed it before, and to be so close to us and look so much more beautiful than the other beaches. It was amazing. I don't think the pictures will do it justice. We took mom on the boat ride, to the wharf, and the aquarium. Even at the aquarium we found things we hadn't seen before. Alyssa taste tasted the sand, and continued to taste it. W built sand castles in the sand, showed Grandma Dennis the Menis Park, and just had a blast. It's made me decide that since Kaila has a week left off of school, we're going to explore as much as we can. It's been so much fun! You can't possibly see it all in one visit. There's always something too see. We walked a ways to get to the aquarium so we could park for free, and saw a beach full of seals. It was entertaining to watch them get in and out of the water. Thanks mom for coming out. We really miss you!!
Carmel, is really pretty. I have been there lots of times growing up. Mmmmmm, the beach! Wish I were there instead of here where it is snowing!!
